  • THE ORGANIZATION ADVOCATES AND FUNDS HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES TO PREVENT RELATIONSHIP VIOLENCE. THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHES THIS VIA PRESENTATIONS ACROSS ALABAMA, EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE COMPLEXITIES OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ADVOCATING FOR CHANGE VIA COMMUNITY SEMINARS, WEBINARS, TRAININGS FOR HEALTH CARE, SOCIAL SERVICE, EDUCATORS AND JUDICIAL PROFESSIONALS. THE ORGANIZATION DISTRIBUTES POSTERS AND INFORMATIONAL BROCHURES TO COMMUNITIES EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON HOW TO ACCESS HELP FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC OR DATING VIOLENCE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES GRANTS TO EMPOWER SCHOOLS AND OTHER QUALIFYING NON-PROFITS TO DELIVER HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP EDUCATION FOR THEIR STUDENTS TO PREVENT RELATIONSHIP VIOLENCE BEFORE IT STARTS.
