Mission and programs · 2022

Primary exempt purpose

Our mission is to enrich the education of middle school students by exposing them to a broad variety of experiences that expand their horizons, create awareness of career pathways and strengthen connections among students, school and community.

  • Community School Collaborative (CSC) made significant strides in youth development. Hosting Cougar Career Days, we immersed 307 middle school students in a total of 4,305 hours of career exploration. Additionally, our innovative Pop-up Clubs provided an extra 144 hours for students to delve into diverse career fields. The Pre-Apprenticeship program successfully supported three students in internships at Dan Baileys Outdoor Co. Volunteer mentors generously dedicated 1,075 hours to guide Park County youth during various programming. CSC is grateful for the generosity of our community, with in-kind donations totaling $47,761, including crucial support in professional services ($17,514), meeting space rental ($3,500), program volunteer time ($22,747), facility rental ($2,000), and transportation ($2,000). This diverse range of initiatives and community contributions aligns with our commitment to shaping positive futures for the youth in Park County.
