In July, we held a plant-based cooking class with Oklahoma Baptist Homes, teaching over 20 women about the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle for their body, mind, spirit, and environment. In August, we hosted an ice cream social with a twist for the community at Natural Grocers, engaging 18 participants. In December, we organized a cookies and milk social at Natural Grocers, where everything we made was vegan and gluten-free, attended by 20 people. In March of this year, we offered a Mommy and Me bread-making class for the community, guiding over 50 parents and children on how to bake healthy, dairy-free, and egg-free bread. In June, we conducted another Mommy and Me strawberry shortcake class, attracting many previous participants and new families eager to explore STEAM and create vegan treats. We successfully pitched one of our programs to the Rural Health Institute, securing $4,000 in funding to enhance children's health initiatives within the community. In July, we hosted a smoothie-making class in collaboration with Natural Grocers, welcoming 12 participants who learned new recipes to support their health journeys. In October, we participated in the Red Earth Vegan Fest in Oklahoma City, allowing us to connect with the local vegan community. We distributed books and provided information on the benefits of being a Christian plant-based vegetarian.
