Mission
THE MISSION OF TEEN CHALLENGE OF THE MID-SOUTH IS TO PROVIDE ADULTS, OVER THE AGE OF 18, FREEDOM FROM ADDICTION AND OTHER LIFE-CONTROLLING ISSUES THROUGH OUR CHRIST-CENTERED, 12 MONTH RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY PROGRAM.
Activities or mission (Part I)
TO PROVIDE ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 18 FREEDOM FROM ADDICTION AND OTHER LIFE-CONTROLLING ISSUES
-
THE ADULT & TEEN CHALLENGE MID-SOUTH (ATCM) PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO NEED RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY IN ORDER TO DEAL WITH LIFE-CONTROLLING ADDICTIONS. PROGRAMS INCLUDE BIBLE STUDY, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, COUNSELING, CHRISTIAN GROWTH, ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT. DUE TO THE VERY NATURE OF ADDICTION, MOST ADDICTS ARE TURNED OUT BY FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE EXHAUSTED, ARE UNABLE TO WORK, AND MAY COME FROM THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM. THEY COME TO ATCM INDIGENT AND UNABLE TO PAY ANY PART OF THE LOW FEES WE LIST. IT IS BECAUSE OF THE DONORS, FOUNDATIONS AND CORPORATIONS WHO BELIEVE IN THE WORK OF ATCM THAT THE MINISTRY IS ABLE TO CONTINUE.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
