Mission and programs · 2023
Mission
Created to provide education, training, and technical assistance to support county officials that serve some of the most vulnerable populations in America. We offer resources, outreach, and advocacy tools to empower and transform communities to be stronger and more viable.

NOBCO conducts a national economic development conference and participates in two affiliated national conferences annnually convening black county officials to share innovations, best practices, and lessons learned to benefit others. We conduct programming and events to support grant funded initiatives across the nation in areas of health, criminal justice reform, technology, and the future of work among other issues.
