Mission
"DEFEAT HATE WITH LOVE". WE ARE FIGHTING TO EMPOWER THOSE WHO DON'T HAVE A VOICE - FROM THE FORGOTTEN PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD AFFECTED BY THE WATER CRISIS, TO THE BULLIED IN OUR OWN NEIGHBORHOODS AND SCHOOLS.
-
INTERNATIONALLY, FIGHT FOR THE FORGOTTEN STRIVES TO EMPOWER OPPRESSED PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD. CURRENT EFFORTS ARE FOCUSED ON WORK WITH THE PYGMY PEOPLE IN UGANDA, WHICH IS CREATING AN OVERFLOWING POSITIVE EFFECT ON SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THE PYGMIES ARE BEING PROVIDED WITH LAND, CLEAN WATER, TOOLS AND SEED FOR FARMING, RESOURCES, AND EDUCATION TO ENABLE THEM TO BUILD THEIR OWN SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
Expenses $650,045
-
DOMESTICALLY, FIGHT FOR THE FORGOTTEN IS ON A MISSION TO TACKLE BULLYING AND TRAUMA ISSUES THROUGH BOTH AWARENESS AND PREVENTION. THE PROBLEM OF BULLYING IS ENORMOUS AND IS DESTROYING THE LIVES OF OUR YOUTH BOTH PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. THE REPERCUSSIONS CAN BE LONG LASTING AND SADLY CAN LEAD TO DEPRESSION, ADDICTION, SELF-HARM AND SOMETIMES EVEN SUICIDE. WE ALSO PROVIDE A CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT/BULLY PREVENTION CURRICULUM FOR MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMIES FOR AGES 6-10. IT IS CALLED "HEROES IN WAITING- AND ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO PUT LOVE AND COMPASSION IN ACTION AND TO GO FROM BEING AN INACTIVE BYSTANDER TO AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN THE RESOLUTION OF BULLYING. EVERY PERSON IS A HERO IN WAITING.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
