• THE SUMMER JAZZ CONCERT SERIES IS OUR FLAGSHIP PROGRAM WHICH PRESENTS A SERIES OF CONCERTS IN VENUES ALL OVER NW ARKANSAS. WORLD CLASS JAZZ ARTISTS ARE FEATURED IN PUBLIC CONCERTS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION CLINICS AND WORKSHOPS WITH THE ARTISTS AS WELL AS MEET AND GREET SESSIONS WITH AUDIENCE MEMBERS.

• AS THE RECOGNIZED LEADER IN JAZZ PRESENTATION AND EDUCATION, NAJS HAS BECOME A GO-TO RESOURCE FOR REGIONAL ARTS PRESENTERS, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES, MUSEUMS AND PERFORMANCE VENUES AS A COLLABORATIVE PARTNER. IN THIS ROLE NAJS HAS A WELL ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIP WITH CRYSTAL BRIDGES MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART, CURATING THEIR VAN CLIBURN PIANO SERIES, NORTH FOREST CONCERT SERIES AND SPECIAL EVENTS LIKE THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND. WORKING WITH MUSEUM STAFF, NAJS HAS SERVED AS A COLLABORATIVE PARTNER IN BRINGING WORLD CLASS ARTISTS TO PERFORM FOR THESE EVENTS.

• JAZZ ALL STAR PROGRAM IS AN EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM WHICH OFFERS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGHOUT NORTHWEST ARKANSAS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A MUSICAL COMMUNITY OF PASSIONATE YOUNG MUSICIANS AT A PIVOTAL POINT IN THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.STUDENTS ARE SELECTED BY AUDITION AND HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY TECHNIQUES THEY LEARN IN REHEARSALS TO CONCERT PERFORMANCES AND PROFESSIONAL RECORDINGS. AS PART OF THE PROGRAM THEY: RECEIVE ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING FROM PROFESSIONAL JAZZ MUSICIANS PARTICIPATE IN A PROFESSIONAL STUDIO RECORDING SESSION WITH BANDMATES PERFORM WITH THE ALL-STARS IN CONCERT AT WALTON ARTS CENTER AND OTHER VENUES IN OUR REGION.

• JAZZ IN BLOOM IS AN ANNUAL MEMBERS APPRECIATION EVENT HELD AT THE BOTANTICAL GARDEN OF THE OZARKS THAT SERVES THE DUAL PURPOSE OF HAVING AN ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING AS WELL AS A CONCERT THAT CELEBRATES MUSIC, NATURE AND SUPPORTERS OF THE JAZZ SOCIETY.
