Mission and programs · 2022
Mission
Create a thriving trail that reflects the diversity of the Puget Sound in partnership with communities, business, and governments to raise awareness, secure trail funding, and connect people to each other and the trail.
Activities or mission (Part I)
We bring together the diverse communities, governments, the private sector and nonprofits of Lake Washigton's Eastside to make the vision for the completed Eastrail a reality and improve equity through access.
-
2022 Eastrail work included new park amenities opening along the corridor, critical trail connections, major funding wins, and engaging community in planning processes. Eastrail Partners lead advocacy efforts that resulted in $29M for Eastrail projects allocated in the state transportation package. Congresswoman DelBene also secured $3.6M in federal funding for Eastrail projects. As part of our mission to make the Eastrail for everyone, every day, we supported events where we got to hear from community members and created opportunities for new trail users to get out and explore the Eastrail.
Expenses $407,147

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
