Mission
Religious workshops and retreats.
-
Quaker Center is a retreat and conference center under the care of the ReligiousSociety of Friends (Quakers). In 2023, the Center was again able to hold a full calendar of in-person and online programs as well as camps for children, young people and families. Quaker Center also hosted a wide array of groups, organizations and events. The Center has been operating at near pre-pandemic levels of activity, and although income is down, we reduced costs and did not operate at a loss in 2023. While the challenges of reduced income, increased costs and extreme weather events are still with us, we enter 2024 and Quaker Center's 75th anniversary year with enthusiasm and hope.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
