HRSA BHSE In 2023, AHS Family Health Center provided integrated primary, dental, and behavioral health services to 14,659 unduplicated patients through nearly 62,000 visits, with 15% conducted virtually. The behavioral health program saw significant growth, particularly in response to increased demand stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the opioid crisis, and rising mental health needs. AHSFHC has seen increased demand for BH services from the target population. HRSA UDS 3-year Trend report indicates AHSFHC Mental Health unduplicated patient count increased by 63% from 2020 to 2021 and 12% increase from 2021 and 2022 (83% increase from 2020 to 2022). This expansion, facilitated by additional staffing and the efficiency of our integrated care model, allowed AHSFHC to address the mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) challenges of our diverse and underserved population. IBCCP The Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) at AHS Family Health Center (AHSFHC) provides essential screening services for uninsured and underinsured women, focusing on breast and cervical cancer prevention and offering linguistically and culturally appropriate care to a predominantly Asian, immigrant, and refugee population. The IBCCP program targets high-risk, underserved women, helping them access diagnostic screenings and treatments. AHSFHC has participated in the IBCCP for over 20 years and is a Lead Agency. In FY 2024, the caseload was 1,600 and for FY 2025, will increase to a total caseload of 1,634. With strong community partnerships and a commitment to health equity, AHSFHC ensures vulnerable women receive the preventive care they need. CDPH TICC In July 2022 AHS Family Health Center was accepted into the City of Chicago's mental health network of Trauma Informed Centers of Care (TICC). We joined several other organizations across Chicago to provide targeted behavioral health services in a service area experiencing a dearth of mental health services. Our Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Program addresses the unmet mental health needs of West Ridge, a community where immigrant and refugee populations face significant barriers to accessing care. Asians (21% of the population in 2022) in this area often present with more severe mental health conditions than their peers, exacerbated by confusion between somatic and psychological symptoms, lack of interpreters, and limited awareness that mental health issues are treatable. The IBH program enrolled 250 new adults, 50 new youth, and served 200 existing participants during FY 2023. The program funds 6 clinical staff to provide direct Behavioral Health Counseling and Psychiatry services, using an Integrated Care model that offers culturally competent services, telehealth, flexible scheduling, and financial accessibility.
Expenses $8,648,819 · Grants $511 · Revenue $8,964,018

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
