Mission

LA JOLLA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (LJCF) RAISES FUNDS THROUGH MEMBERSHIPS AND DONATIONS TO SUPPORT MAJOR PROJECTS IN THE COMMUNITY. OUR PURPOSE IS TO FOSTER A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND ENHANCE THE LA JOLLA EXPERIENCE.

Activities or mission (Part I)

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO IMPROVE THE LA JOLLA, CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY BY COMBATTING COMMUNITY DETERIORATION, IMPROVING CONDITIONS, IDENTIFYING COMMUNITY PROBLEMS AND ENCOURAGING RESOLUTIONS, ENHANCING PUBLIC PORTIONS OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH PUBLIC ART, LANDSCAPE AND ARCHITECTURAL IMPROVEMENTS, AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

  • INCLUDED IN THE PROJECTS THAT THE ORGANIZATION WILL PERFORM IS THE CREATION OF A PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY IN THE VILLAGE OF LA JOLLA, CALIFORNIA. THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN COORDINATION WITH ANOTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS DIRECTLY WITH THE CITY OF SAN DIEGO TO IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC SPACES.
