Mission
NESRI works in partnership with U.S. community-based organizations to increase their capacity to build a human rights movement. NESRI focuses on economic and social rights, including education, health, housing and work with dignity.
-
Partners for Dignity & Rights (P4DR, legal name National Economic and Social Rights Initiative) supports community partners in their campaigns for economic and social rights, including education, housing, and work with dignity, and advances a larger vision of public goods, equity, and democracy for all. Through our New Social Contract project, we worked across the country to map and support co-governance projects between communities and local or state governments. In Washington State, for example, we launched a partnership with the Just Futures coalition to provide support for state-commissioned community assemblies. In New York City we began a project to help design a co-governance model for local City Council District 10. (Continued Schedule O)

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
