Mission and programs · 2024
Primary exempt purpose
The Mission of the Miracle Fields of DFW is to provide children and young adults the opportunity to play baseball regardless of their abilities and to promote community support and sponsorship of our organization.
-
Miracle Fields of DFW provides children and young adults with special needs the opportunity to play baseball on specially designed, fully accessible fields. The organization operates two seasons per year, spring and fall, serving more than 300 athletes each season. Each season, over 800 volunteers from corporations, high schools, colleges, and local sports teams come together to serve as buddies, coaches, and event helpers. Beyond baseball, Miracle Fields of DFW builds a sense of community year-round by hosting additional events such as sports clinics, movie nights, and social gatherings designed to foster inclusion, friendship, and belonging among players and their families. In addition, Miracle Fields of DFW participates in the Miracle League National All-Star event, where two players are selected each year to represent our league and take part in the All-Star Game. This provides an incredible opportunity for athletes to connect with other Miracle League players from across the country and celebrate their love of the game.
