Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

Schedule J, Part I, Line 1a
Officer Compensation All items identified on Line 1a are included as compensation on both the employee's W2 and on Form 990, Schedule J. By contract, the President may travel business class for flights over two hours. In addition, the men's basketball coach and athletic director flew with the team on a charter flight.
Schedule J, Part I, Line 1b
Payments or reimbursements are pursuant to written agreements.
Schedule J, Part II
The president is a nonvoting member of the Board of Trustees. An employee listed was separated during the year and the amount is included in column B(iii) as required.
Schedule J, Part II, Items C and D
Compensation In accordance with IRS regulations, items reported in columns C and D include University contributions to group retirement and nontaxable group benefits paid by the University. These items include the University's contribution to a qualified 403(b) plan, with contributions varying based on length of service, as limited by IRS regulations; the University-paid portion of group health care benefits (cost vary by employee selected plan); and the University-paid costs of other nontaxable benefits including life and disability insurance, and tuition payments. All group benefits apply equally to all non union employees or as set forth in collective bargaining agreements. The University contributes to retiree health and life benefits for former employees, including former officers, based on retirement date which varies by unit.
