Mission
HAVEN AT BLUE CREEK (HBC) IS A 24 HOUR FACILITY ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SHELTER CARE AND RECOVERY FROM ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG ADDICTION THROUGH A 12-STEP, SELF-HELP, PEER ROLE MODELING AND SELF GOVERNANCE APPROACH.
-
Haven at Blue Creek offers residential recovery services to women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction. It is solely supported from donations and all residents are allowed to stay free for their initial 60 days. They offer a comprehensive approach to addiction recovery through a variety of therapeutic modalities designed to heal the mind, body, and spirit. Participants engage in group work to build community and mutual support, individual therapy for personalized healing, and complementary therapies like yoga, dance, art, and equine therapy to enhance emotional regulation, self-expression, and physical well-being. Grounded in a 12-step spiritual philosophy, Haven supports diverse faith practices and provides opportunities for spiritual growth. These therapies work together to foster resilience, self-awareness, and long-term recovery. During the 23-24 fiscal year, approximately 53 women were served.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
