Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)

Part I, Line 3
The Executive Committee and Board of Directors is empowered to evaluate the reasonableness of compensation and other financial transactions. The Executive Committee requests information from external compensation consultants. In all cases, it does so in accordance with the compensation policies set by the Board of Directors, by referencing recognized objective resources on the reasonableness of an market value for the types of personnel and services being considered. That data is prepared for and distributed to Executive Commitee members. Compensation policy is approved by the Board of Directors. Actions related to the Gillette President and CEO, who serves as the Foundation President, and other executive compensation are discussed and voted upon at Commitee meetings. Meeting minutes are recorded.
Part I, Line 4b
Certain employees are eligible to participate in non-qualified deferred compensation plans. These plans comply with Section 457(f) of the Internal Revenue Code and require employees to be executives or physicians to participate. The plans are "gap" plans, which provides participants with a deposit that closes the gap between the limits of IRC 403(b) and actual cash compensation of the participant. Barbara Joers $28,451
Part I, Line 7
Certain employees are eligible for annual one-time awards to recognize employees. The amount and payment of the award is made at the discretion of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.

Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
