Mission
Intentional Sports is a nonprofit organization that stands committed to inspiring Chicago's youth through the power of sports. Our mission is to provide accessible opportunities in sports, wellness, and education through programming that is rooted in excellence, respect, and service.
-
Intentional Sports operates in the North Austin Community Center ("Center") which is another Section 501(c)(3) public charity. The Center's facility is a 140,000 square foot building that houses one full-sized indoor sports field that can be divided into as many as eight smaller multi- unit sport fields, and two "hard court" spaces for basketball, volleyball, and futsal. The Center also includes an extensive outdoor space with a nature playground atrium, outdoor adult fitness courses, walking tracks, sports fields, and a playground. The Center is equipped to offer more than sports programs. Rooms are available for educational activities including mentoring, tutoring and computer-based learning, as well as common space for community gatherings.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
