Mission and programs · 2022

Primary exempt purpose

Procurement, transportation, and distribution of fresh produce, nonperishable pantry items, and basic hygiene essentials to food-insecure, housing-insecure and homeless residents in the cities of Inglewood, Hawthorne, Lennox, El Segundo, and Los Angeles at no cost to recipients.

  • Inglewood Community Table (ICT) offers food, free of charge and without social stigma via its "Open Table" food pantry, available 24/7/365 to anyone in need. In addition to the pantry, twice each week ICT brings in truckloads of fresh produce. ICT arranges seasonal and holiday tables; examples include Mother's Day, Father's Day, Garden Plants, Christmas, and Back to School. We provide transportation for other 501c3s nonprofits throughout the South Bay. We rescue food headed for landfills in support of AB 1826 and SB 1383. Other local food pantries refer clients to us for assistance between their normal scheduled distributions. During Tax year 2022, Inglewood Community Table served approximately 9,125 individuals and families. ICT distributed 71,488 pounds of fresh produce for hunger relief and in support of AB 1826 and SB 1383, edible food otherwise destined for landfills. ICT distributed 12,680 pounds of nonperishable foods to Inglewood and other communities throughout the South Bay.
