Activities or mission (Part I)
Wright Flight Inc is a student incentive program that uses the inherent motivational power of aviation for students in 5th - 12th grade as a means for them to set and achieve goals in academic or personal development areas, stressing aviation, math, science and other technical fields. This program includes an anti-drug/alcohol/substance abuse component.
-
Wright Flight motivational programs were given through the use of Wright Flight History of Aviation materials and lesson plans to over 750 students in the southern Arizona region from 31 schools. We provide the program to private and public schools. Most of the schools involved were elementary school programs administered by paid staff, volunteers and teachers who were trained by Wright Flight staff members. Over 550 students graduated from the program and received aviation incentive flights, t-shirts and photographs. Teachers reported increased attendance and better classroom discipline and higher grades for those students in the Wright Flight program.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
