Mission
Tax exempt purposeEstablish, fund, manage and encourange youth sports in under-privileged urban areas as well as develop and operate youth mentorship and youth development program. We also strive to assist parents with wrapparound service to support the entire family.
-
Enhanced youth sports program that serves as the nucleus to bring youth and their families to our programing where they receive other important wrap-around services. We instll high moral standards into our youth by stressing the importance of academic achievement and community involvement that will extend beyond the field into their future endeavors. This year we had more than 180 football players and 30 cheerleaders along with coaches and other volunteers. We also had a successful outcome with our mentoring and development programing that served more than 200 youth and their parents in the Cherry Hill community of Baltimore City. This program was individualied mentorship to reduce chronic school absenteeism, peer to peer counseling, family advocacy, food share programs, academic support and college preparation. This has helped us build and mainteained our great working relastionship with all the leaders of the schools located in our community. Each year, The Cherry Hill Eagles Foundation provides ongoing direct services to more than 250 youth and over 150 families. This year, the Foundation had a full staff o volunteers that included past program participants, coaches, parrents, and community partners. The ne programming and the new community center provides a safe space and the right tools to serve the already established group of youth particpants and their families, and is greatly inceasing that number. The new progammming we implemented consist of four new modules. They include Trauma Informed Coaching, Youth Mentorship, Leadship Development and IChoos Youth Leadership and Values Program. These programs are available to our youth, their families, the coaches and the community volunteeers. We address issues beyond sports and the outcomes includes, youth ability to effectively manage their rspose to trauma, through effictive communication, youth ability to lead effectely, by making independent, well thought out decisions and youth ability to mentor their peers. The new Cheery Hill Eagles Youth Development and Resource Center also provides a hub for community food drives and free meals, tax services, trasportation services and trade programs.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
