What the amendment changed
Compared with the return it replaced , filed 16 April 2025. matched by us Only the return's totals, a 990-PF's accounting method and the names listed in Part VII (Part VIII on a 990-PF) are compared. We relate returns by organization, tax year and form, and order them by each return's own timestamp; the filer's own "amended return" checkbox is a separate fact.
Those are the same on the two returns, so the amendment changed something else.

Mission and programs · 2023
Mission
To improve the wellness of farmworkers and their families with health care, education, community partnerships, and advocacy. Offering primary healthcare, mental healthcare, education and case management through our mobile and static clincs.
-
Vecinos provides medical care to farmworkers and family members in the 8 wester counties of North Carolina. Outreach workers identify migrant and seasonal farmworkers and complete inital health assessments and health education. Registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical doctors work closely with the outreach workers to ensure holistic care and case management. Medical providers join outreach workers on a mobile medical clinic, which services migrant farmworkers directly in their homes after the work day, breaking down barriers of language, transportation, timing, and cost. Additionally, providers and outreach workers offer similar services weekly in a traditional, static clinic setting for seasonal farmworkers and family members. Health education complements the medical care providers offer. Outreach workers specialize in agricultural health education regarding pesticides and heat exposure, as well as general and specialized topics including dental care, chronic diseases, and child care. All patients receive targeted health education, based on individual needs. Health education complements the medical care providers offer.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
