Mission
Provide aid and healing to our nation's veterans by providing outdoor recreational activities such as hunting and fishing.
Activities or mission (Part I)
Provide outdoor recreation activities such as hunting and fishing for our nation's veterans.
-
Provide opportunities to veterans to experience the outdoors through hunting and fishing expeditions in multiple locations across the country. All expenses, including travel, food and lodging, gear, licenses, taxidermy, and shipping of fish and game to the veterans' homes, are covered by the organization at no cost to the veterans. They are embraced and forge many relationships with each other and the Base Camp 40 family that last long after the expeditions are over. In 2023, 22 veterans were served through 10 different hunts.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
