Activities or mission (Part I)
PROVIDES A WELCOMING AND CHILD FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT TO EXPOSE CHILDREN TO THE RICH DIVERSITY.
-
CEDAR VALLEY KIDS CHILD CARE CENTER WAS FORMED FROM THE WORK OF THE BLACK HAWK CHILD CARE COALITION. MEMBERS OF THE COALITION WORKED TOGETHER TO DEVELOP SOLUTIONS FOR THE BUSINESS AND CHILD CARE COMMUNITY. THE IDEA CAME FROM A LOCAL HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER WHO SHARED DATA AROUND HIS COMPANY'S TURNOVER COSTS. HIS WISH WAS THAT WE CREATE A MODEL WHERE BUSINESSES COULD RESERVE CHILD CARE SPACES TO RECRUIT AND RETAIN TALENT TO THE WATERLOO AND CEDAR FALLS AREA. CEDAR VALLEY KIDS IS A NON-PROFIT CHILDCARE CENTER. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY CHILD CARE FOR EMPLOYEES IN THE CEDAR VALLEY. CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE CENTER WILL RECEIVE EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCES AND QUALITY PROGRAMMING TO PREPARE THEM FOR LIFE.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
