Mission

TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION OF NEW MEXICO ANESTHESIOLOGISTS AND TO FOSTER RELATIONS WITHIN THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF ANESTHESIOLOGY.

  • IN 2022, NMSA HOSTED AN ONLINE ANNUAL MEETING IN WHICH WE HAD NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED GUEST SPEAKERS IN THE FIELD OF ANESTHESIOLOGY. WE OBTAINED A GRANT FROM THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ANESTHESIOLOGISTS TO HELP SUPPORT THE SCOPE OF PRACTICE LEGISLATIVE EFFORTS,AS WELL AS PUBLIC RELATIONS. NMSA ALSO CREATED A NEW WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES TO BETTER SERVE OUR MEMBERS, PATIENTS, AND POLICYMAKERS IN NEW MEXICO TO POSITION THE SOCIETY AS A TRUSTED RESOURCE FOR ANESTHESIA INFORMATION FOR ALL NEW MEXICANS.
