Mission
The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Bismarck (RMHC) is "to improve the lives of children and their families." In support of this mission, RMHC-Bismarck owns and operates the Ronald McDonald House, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile and the RMHC School Based Sealant Program.
Activities or mission (Part I)
To improve the lives of children and their families.
-
Ronald McDonald House Program: As its core program, RMHC owns and operates the Ronald McDonald House of Bismarck which provides temporary housing for the families of seriously ill children receiving medical treatment at the local medical facilities. Families are asked to contribute $20/night for their stay, but no one is turned away for inability to pay. The House serves pediatric patients and their families, age 0-18.In 2023 we served 76 families for a total of 1,034 stays.
Expenses $287,241 · Revenue $9,283
-
Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Program: The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a state of the art mobile dental clinic that brings oral health care to underserved children in their own neighborhoods. The program serves children age 0-21 who do not have a regular dentist or who have not seen a dentist in the past two years. RMHC-Bismarck contracts with Bridging the Dental Gap to provide the dental services. We bill insurance when possible, but no child is turned away for inability to pay. Our goal for 2023 was to treat at least 1,000 children. We served 1,183 children at 46 sites in 16 communities.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
