Mission

CAMP PATRICK IS A PLACE WHERE KIDS CAN STRENGTHEN THEIR INDEPENDENCE, TRY NEW THINGS, AND MAKE LIFELONG FRIENDS WITH CHILDREN WHO ARE SIMILAR. IT PROVIDES A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE NOT JUST FOR THE KIDS WITH SPINA BIFIDA, BUT ALSO FOR THEIR FAMILIES BY PROVIDING A STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM.

Activities or mission (Part I)

CAMP PATRICK CREATES A STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR CHILDREN WITH SPINA BIFIDA AND THEIR FAMILIES, INCLUDING ALL THE ATTENDEES OF OUR UNIQUE CAMP EXPERIENCE.

  • THIS YEAR WAS ANOTHER WONDERFUL YEAR FOR CAMP PATRICK. IN JUNE OF 2025, WE HOSTED 78 KIDS AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH SPINA BIFIDA AT CAMP PATRICK FOR A WEEK OF SUMMER CAMP AND INCLUSIVITY. WE ALSO HAD 105 VOLUNTEER STAFF MEMBERS. WE ORGANIZED TWO COMMUNITY EVENTS WHERE CAMPERS, FAMILY MEMBERS, AND OUR STAFF COULD COME TOGETHER TO CONNECT AND STRENGTHEN THE SPINA BIFIDA COMMUNITY. WE ALSO PARTICIPATED IN TWO PARADES AND HAD A CAMP PATRICK FLOAT. IT WAS A GREAT COMMUNITY EVENT. WE AWARDED ONE SCHOLARSHIP TO ONE OF OUR CAMPERS TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION. WE ALSO PLANNED AND HELD TWO LARGE FUNDRAISERS. THESE EVENTS ARE SIGNIFICANT TO US AS WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCES AT OUR EVENTS AND AT CAMP PATRICK. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL TO OUR INCREDIBLE SUPPORTERS AND DONORS.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
