GIRLS 4 SCIENCE IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO EXPOSING GIRLS IN CHICAGO AGES 10-18 YEARS OLD TO SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATH. WE FOCUS ON DEVELOPING SKILLS, SELF-ESTEEM, AWARENESS, AND RELATIONSHIPS TO HELP GIRLS OVERCOME BARRIERS THAT MAY PREVENT THEM FROM ACHIEVING GREATER SUCCESS IN THESE FIELDS.
Activities or mission (Part I)
THE MISSION OF GIRLS 4 SCIENCE IS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF GIRLS THROUGH EARLY EXPOSURE TO THESTUDY OF SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH (STEM) AND WOMEN OF COLORPRACTICING IN STEM FIELDS, HANDS-ON PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING, AND MENTORSHIP FOR CAREERSIN STEM.

EDUCATIONAL SCIENCE PROGRAMS - DURING THE 2023 THERE WERE FOUR PROGRAM COVERING TECHNOLGY, PHYSICS, CONSTRUCTION, AND HEALTH AND WELLNESS. EACH PROGRAM THE STUDENTS LEARNED THE SUBJECT AND APPLIED WHAT THEY LEARNED ON VARIOUS HANDS ON PROJECTS.
