Mission
PowerMyLearning's mission is to empower each student, particularly those from historically marginalized communities, to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally by working hand-in-hand with educators to foster equitable learning environments.

PowerMyLearning Programs and Services - PowerMyLearning works hand-in-hand with educators to foster equitable learning environments that empower each student to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We partner with schools and districts to provide professional learning (including coaching) to K-12 teachers and school leaders. For the K-2 grade bands, we offer a holistic math program that combines professional learning and a math practice tool so teachers can improve their instruction with a particular emphasis on math discourse, multilingual learners, and family engagement. All of our programming is designed to help educators support their students in mastering grade-level content while also advancing social-emotional learning skills. We have a history of working in historically marginalized communities and of achieving statistically significant outcomes on academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and teacher practice. Our plan for the upcoming years is to focus on improving teacher and leader instructional practices to address the declines in math achievement, especially among student groups that have been historically marginalized. This plan includes devoting more of our resources to helping schools and district adopt and implement high-quality instructional materials in math while deepening teacher content knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, and curricular knowledge.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
