Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

Crossing Cultures International, Inc. exists to glorify God by equipping Christ followers globally with comprehensive training for effective ministry.

  • Crossing Cultures International trains indigenous pastors and church leaders through 550 class hours that covers basic seminary training. These training programs are translated and printed into the native languages of those being trained. Over 150 national coordinators oversee these training programs. During 2023, we trained 1089 potential teachers in 20 countries in using the BTCP curriculum. This resulted in 204 new classes with 2,660 new students. As of Dec 2023, we oversee 708 classes in 40 countries with 8,700 national church leaders in training through the BTCP program. 46 classes with 525 students finished the BTCP training in 2023. With our God's Financial Principles seminar, we trained 1,890 participants in understanding what the Bible teaches about money and stewardship, working with the abilities God has given us, getting out of debt, following a simple budget, learning to give generously, and honesty and integrity with money. With our Advanced Expository Preaching Seminar, we trained 56 participants. Twenty eight seminars on Resolving Conflict in a Godly Way were held with 1,678 participants. Other seminars on Family and Marriage and Biblical Love and Dating were held, as well as Church Administration, and Evangelism & Discipleship. Our fourth Global Conference was held in Chiangmai, Thailand, with 205 participants from 15 nations. As of December 2023, we now have over 9,017 graduates through the BTCP 10 course curriculum covering 520 class hours, 8,798 trainees of the Gods Financial Principles Seminar, and 1,345 trainees of the Advanced Expository Preaching Seminar. Since 2019, 105 new churches have been started with over 5,000 people in average weekly attendance. Currently, we are working with 27 language translation projects for the CCI Training materials. 170 different people groups are being reached with CCI training. $50,000 was collected outside the USA as payment for books, seminar registration fees, and local donations.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
