Mission

THE AMERICAN TURKISH SOCIETY'S MISSION IS TO ENHANCE BUSINESS, ECONOMIC, AND CULTURAL TIES BETWEEN TURKEY AND THE UNITED STATES.

  • PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS OF TURKISH DESCENT AT THE JUILLIARD SCHOOL AND BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC, PROVIDES FUNDS FOR STUDENTS OF TURKISH DESCENT WHO HAVE ALREADY OBTAINED SCHOLARSHIPS FROM THIRD PARTIES (SUCH AS FULBRIGHT) WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE PROMISING TURKS FUND PROGRAM, COVER TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION COSTS FOR TURKISH ARTISTS TO ATTEND THE SCHOOL OF VISUAL ARTS SUMMER RESIDENCY PROGRAM, PROVIDE FUNDING FOR PROJECTS THAT INTRODUCE AND PRESENT THE TURKISH CULTURE AND ARTS IN THE U.S.
