Mission
THE SC FARM BUREAU FEDERATION IS A STATEWIDE ORGANIZATION THAT BRINGS TOGETHER FARMERS, RANCHERS, ENTREPRENEURS, AGRIBUSINESS PROFESSIONALS AND FOOD ENTHUSIASTS TO STRENGTHEN THE FUTURE OF AGRICULTURE IN SOUTH CAROLINA. WE INFORM LAWMAKERS ABOUT THE IMPACT OF POLICIES, TRAIN YOUNG FARMERS, AND HELP EDUCATE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS ABOUT AGRICULTURE. THROUGH OUR COLLECTIVE EFFORTS, THE FEDERATION ADVANCES FAMILY FARMS, LOCALLY GROWN FOOD, AND RURAL SOUTH CAROLINA.
Activities or mission (Part I)
TO PROMOTE AGRICULTURAL INTERESTS IN THE STATE OF SC AND OPTIMIZE THE LIVES OF THOSE INVOLVED IN AGRICULTURE.

THE FEDERATION PROVIDES A VEHICLE FOR FARMERS TO WORK TOGETHER TO DEVELOP UNIFIED POLICIES TO FEATURE AGRICULTURAL ACHIEVEMENTS AND PROMOTE OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR MEMBERS TO COME TOGETHER AND SHARE AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCES, PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL CLASSES AND PROMOTE FELLOWSHIP AMONGST MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
