Mission
THE ORLANDO ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP IS A PUBLIC-PRIVATE, NOT-FOR-PROFIT ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS TO ADVANCE BROAD-BASED PROSPERITY BY STRENGTHENING ORLANDO'S ECONOMY, AMPLIFYING ORLANDO'S STORY, CHAMPIONING REGIONAL PRIORITIES, EMPOWERING COMMUNITY LEADERS AND BUILDING A BRILLIANT REGION. THESE FIVE FOUNDATIONAL OBJECTIVES SERVE TO IMPROVE THE REGION'S COMPETITIVENESS WHILE RESPONDING TO THE NEEDS OF COMMUNITIES, RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES.
Activities or mission (Part I)
ORLANDO ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP, FORMERLY KNOWN AS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF MID-FLORIDA, INC., IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT, PRIVATE/PUBLIC PARTNERSHIP SERVING THE METRO ORLANDO REGION - ORANGE, SEMINOLE, BREVARD, OSCEOLA, POLK, VOLUSIA, AND LAKE COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF ORLANDO. WE MARKET THE ORLANDO REGION WORLDWIDE AS A TOP LOCATION FOR BUSINESS IN ORDER TO ATTRACT, RETAIN AND GROW COMPANIES, JOBS AND CAPITAL INVESTMENT FOR THE REGION. IN ADDITION, WE WORK WITH LOCAL COMPANIES TO ASSIST THEM WITH EXPANSION PLANS AND OTHER BUSINESS CONCERNS. THE ORLANDO ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP IS ALSO THE HOME TO THE ORLANDO FILM COMMISSION, WHICH MARKETS THE REGION AS A TOP PRODUCTION LOCATION.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2023, THE ORLANDO ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP IS PROUD TO REPORT THAT COMPANIES WE WORKED WITH ANTICIPATE TO CREATE 4,303 NEW JOBS OVER THE NEXT THREE TO FIVE YEARS AND OVER $620,000,300 IN CAPITAL INVESTMENT FROM THOSE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
