Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

TO MOBILIZE PUBLIC SCHOOL ALUMNI AS A POWERFUL FORCE TO CHANGE THE WAY CITIES EDUCATE AND REINVEST IN HOMEGROWN TALENT.

  • LEADERSHIP LAUNCHPAD: THE LEADERSHIP LAUNCHPAD IS EDNIUM'S FLAGSHIP PROGRAM. WITH OVER 50 PROGRAM GRADUATES, THE LEADERSHIP LAUNCHPAD ALLOWS DENVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS ALUMNI TO EXPLORE LEADERSHIP IN A VARIETY OF WAYS IN ADDITION TO HELPING TO IDENTIFY THE ACTION INITIATIVES THE ORGANIZATION UNDERTAKES. AS A RESULT OF THE LEADERSHIP LAUNCHPAD, EDNIUM HAS PASSED POLICY CHANGES AT THE DISTRICT AND CITY LEVEL, AND IS CURRENTLY EXPLORING POLICY CHANGES IN THE COLORADO STATE LEGISLATURE.

    Expenses $501,039 · Revenue $102,000

  • DENVER DEEP DIVE: WE HAVE LEARNED FROM ALUMNI THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO OR AWARENESS OF THE RESOURCES, PROCESSES AND NETWORKS IN THE CITY THAT RAISED THEM. AS A RESULT WE ARE OFTEN PUT INTO A POSITION WHERE WE HAVE TO ADAPT TO DECISIONS MADE WITHOUT OUR PERSPECTIVE AND INPUT. ENTER DENVER DEEP DIVE. OUR NEWEST PROGRAM WILL BRING TOGETHER A GROUP OF HIGHLY MOTIVATED, ENTHUSIASTIC ALUMNI PARTNERS WHO WANT TO ELEVATE THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF HOW THE CITY WORKS AND ARE CURRENTLY SOLVING (OR NOT) THE ISSUES DIRECTLY FACING OUR COMMUNITIES.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
