Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

CleanTech Alliance represents more than 1000 member companies and organizations across the region. Founded in 2007 by business and cleantech leaders, the Alliance facilitates the generation and growth of cleantech companies and jobs through a variety of educational events.

Activities or mission (Part I)

CleanTech Alliance represents more than 1000 member companies and organizations across the region.

  • Commercialization assistance is critical to the CleanTech Alliance mission. Our programs help early-and late-stage companies hone their business plans, products and market delivery to cross the valleys of death from concept to commercialization to success.

  • The CleanTech Alliance assists emerging cleantech companies and initiatives looking for exposure, connections, and funding. These receive visibility with members, partner organizations, and other resources to help meet specific goals of the organizations. The Alliance also provides visibility by utilizing them for program speakers, media outreach, case studies and resources.

  • The CleanTech Alliance manages a commercialization program in partnership with VertueLab to help entrepreneurs start successful businesses and create jobs.

As filed on the 2023 return.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
