Mission and programs · 2023

Mission

Founded in 2009, Traffick911 exists to free youth from sex trafficking through trust-based relationships. We believe that sex trafficking is a symptom of a deeply-rooted issue: relational brokenness. Our extensive experience with countless victims has revealed that relational wounds, often many, play a significant role in causing or contributing to trafficking victimization. It is through building and nurturing healthy relational bonds that victims can heal and progress from being a victim to becoming a survivor. (Continued on Schedule O).

Activities or mission (Part I)

Traffick911 exists to free youth from sex trafficking through trust-based relationships.

  • Empowerment programming. Voice and Choice Program by Traffick911 served survivors of child sex trafficking through any time crisis response, field based relational support, and intensive case management in close collaboration with county multidisciplinary teams in Dallas, Tarrant, Denton, Collin, Ellis, and Rockwall counties. The any time Crisis Response Team responded to 96 crisis recoveries of children in 2023 in partnership with law enforcement, where fulltime Advocates physically responded within 60 minutes. In 2023, the Voice and Choice Advocates provided 2363 services to 322 survivors and their families in North Texas, including transportation, food and groceries, medical advocacy, court accompaniment, and more. In addition, 76 percent of survivor goals were achieved, where youth accomplished their self determined goals in partnership with their Advocate.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
