Mission and programs · 2022

Primary exempt purpose

OUR MISSION Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) SaveKitty Foundation's mission is to perform TNR as the only real solution to the homeless cat problem. TNR attacks the problem of homeless cats at its roots, preventing the birth of unwanted kittens before they can be brought into shelters where they are all too frequently euthanized.

  • ANIMAL RESCUE: SaveKitty volunteers rescue animals from the streets, basements, alleyways and abandoned buildings of NYC, and from desperate situations where their lives may be in danger. We will go anywhere to rescue animals in danger, including on highways, up trees and in the NYC subway.

    Expenses $7,140

  • ADOPTION & FOSTER CARE: In the process of doing TNR we come across many adoptable cats and kittens. We take those animals into our foster/adoption program until safe, loving homes can be found for them.

    Expenses $4,625
