Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

The filer's explanations (Part III)
- Part I, Line 1a
- Southern New Hampshire Medical Center uses the facilities at the Nashua Country Club for meetings and other business related purposes. The Club does not have a corporate membership; therefore, an individual associated with Southern New Hampshire Medical Center must be a member of the Club. The membership is titled in the CEO's name and invoices are addressed to the CEO, not Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Southern New Hampshire Medical Center pays the annual dues and all related expenses incurred by the organization. The facilities are only available to Club members.
- Part I, Lines 4a-b
- Schedule J, Part 1, Line 4a: Michael Rose, who served Southern New Hampshire Medical Center (SNHMC) as its President & CEO, left the organization during a previous tax year. Mr. Rose received severance payments from SNHMC during the 2022 calendar year. Additionally, Susan Desocio, who served as the President of Foundation Medical Partners through November 2019, also received severance compensation during the 2022 calendar year. Scott Wolf, who served as the President of the Medical Center in a previous tax year, also received severance compensation during the 2022 calendar year. Lastly, Robert Dorf, who served as the President of Foundation Medical Partners in a previous tax year, also received severance compensation during the 2022 calendar year. Given Foundation Medical Partners' role and significance to the Hospital's operations and governance, both Susan Desocio and Robert Dorf have been reported on this Form 990, Part VII and Schedule J. The severance payments for each of these individuals are reflected in these individuals' respective compensation as reported on Schedule J, Part II, Column B(iii), as follows: Michael Rose - $936,549; Susan Desocio - $862,986; Scott Wolf - $332,693; and Robert Dorf - $106,080. As neither Michael Rose, Susan Desocio, Robert Dorf, nor Scott Wolf served this Organization or a listed related organization in any capacity during this tax year, each individual has been listed as a "former" officer on this Form 990, Part VII and Schedule J, in accordance with IRS Instructions. Thomas Wilhelmsen was also a former officer for purposes of reporting on this Form 990, Part VII and Schedule J. However, Mr. Wilhelmsen did not receive any severance compensation as reported within his 2022 Form W-2 wages. Schedule J, Part I, Line 4b: Southern New Hampshire Medical Center provides a Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan to certain executives. Funding for this plan during the year was provided as follows: Paul Trainor - $38,861
- Part I, Line 7
- There is an additional compensation plan available to managers, directors and senior management that is part of their annual performance plan. The plan takes into consideration quality measures, patient satisfaction, individual goals, budget adherence and overall organizational performance. The range and overall pool is reviewed and approved by the Board of Trustees. The amount designated for the CEO and CFO are considered in the compensation consultant's analysis of executive compensation reported on the 990 Part VI section B Line 15b.
- Unrelated Organization Compensation
- Marc Sadowsky, is also the Medical Director of the Medical Center's Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) unit. During Calendar year 2022, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center paid New England Neurological Association $12,000 in in return for ECT and weekend coverage provided by Dr. Sadowsky to the Southern New Hampshire Health System.
Part I's answers as filed. A line not listed was left unanswered; on lines 1a and 3 that means the box was not checked.
