Mission and programs · 2024
Primary exempt purpose
MissionCleanWater was founded to create lasting, community-driven water solutions. Water isn't just a necessity-it's the foundation for health, education, and economic growth. When clean water is reliable, everything changes. Since 2019, we've proven our approach works, delivering clean water to over 50,000 people in Uganda's Serere District. In 2024, the government recognized our impact, asking us to become an official Area Service Provider responsible for water access for 500,000 people.
-
In the summer of 2024, MissionCleanWater launched a pilot program to rehabilitate nonfunctional clean water points and support communities in managing at-risk systems before failure. By restoring 39 water points, the program provided clean water to 20,000 community members and 5,000 students across Uganda. To ensure long-term sustainability, we established a reliable supply chain to deliver high-quality materials to remote areas, created a 24-hour emergency response system for rapid repairs, and implemented monthly monitoring for water quality and quantity. Following its success, the program has expanded to 50 water points and will scale to over 1,000 by 2030, bringing clean water access to 500,000 people.
