Programming during the fiscal year continued to creatively serve housed and unhoused members of our low-income Skid Row community and the public at our Skid Row History Museum & Archive SRHMA and other public spaces. In October 2023 LAPD hosted our 14th annual 2-day Festival for All Skid Row Artists in Gladys Park Skid Row attended by an est. 1,500 people and 150 artists. In January we published and distributed free to community members 2,000 newspapers featuring the artists. LAPDs Welcome to the Covid Hotel exhibition opened at SRHMA on March 9 2024 and was on view for the remainder of the FY activated by 2 LAPD theatrical performances and 3 community conversations. The project documented and disseminated the experiences of frontline workers at County Quarantine and Isolation medical shelters for homeless Covid patients. Total participants: approx. 20 Skid Row rehearsals workshop participants; 10 cast members 10 panelists; and 180 audience. On May 25 2024 LAPD presented Walk the Talk our biennial performance parade. More than 200 participants included 8 honorees volunteers cast and audience. Biographical scripts about the honorees were distilled from LAPDs interviews and performed by our Skid Row ensemble who participated in rehearsals workshops over three months. Skid Row arts educator Hayk Makhmuryan created honoree portraits. LAPD produced and handed out tabloid newspapers to people in the neighborhood. LAPD archived project materials in our publicly accessible online archive. Over the summer we produced a publication Community & Cosmology: Networks of Liberation to conclude our prior years Community Curator project. Throughout FY2023-24 SRHMA hosted free monthly workshops and meetings as well as special events for Skid Row community members led by individuals and grassroots groups. These included Creative Writing Sock Puppet Making other meetings organized by community groups and annual Bob Marley Day and Juneteenth celebrations organized by Skid Row community member DJ Sir Oliver. LAPD produced Movie Nights twice month and Open Mic Nights monthly. In all Museum programs engaged an estimated 10,000 participants including exhibition visitors and public program audience members in FY2023-24. Working with other Skid Row arts organizations LAPD created and distributed 2,500 copies issue a quarterly ArtsZine highlighting neighborhood artists and activities. Throughout FY2023-24 LAPD archivists worked with 9 volunteers to continue to put our archival holdings in Central Management System while also acquiring and processing new materials generated through LAPD activities and donated from Skid Row leaders and organizations. There were another 15 volunteers who supported LA Poverty Department projects throughout the year.

The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
