What the amendment changed

We relate returns by organization, tax year and form, and order them by each return's own timestamp; the filer's own "amended return" checkbox is a separate fact.

Both are the same on the two returns, so the amendment changed something else.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.

PART I, LINE 3
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS HAS A POLICY FOR REVIEWING AND APPROVING THE COMPENSATION PACKAGES OF THE CEO ON A REGULAR BASIS TO DETERMINE IT IS FAIR AND REASONABLE WITH THE GOAL OF RETAINING EMPLOYEES AT COMPENSATION LEVELS WITHIN APPROPRIATE MARKET RANGE. THE POLICY PROVIDES THAT THE REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE COMPENSATION ARRANGEMENT WILL BE CONDUCTED, IN ADVANCE, BY INDEPENDENT AND IMPARTIAL MEMBERS OF THE BOARD (OR A COMMITTEE OF THE BOARD). THE BOARD MAY ALSO REVIEW CURRENT COMPENSATION SURVEYS COMPILED BY INDEPENDENT FIRMS AND CONSIDER RECENT WRITTEN OFFERS FROM SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS COMPETING FOR THE COVERED INDIVIDUAL'S SERVICES. THE DOCUMENTATION OF THE BOARD INCLUDES THE TERMS OF THE TRANSACTION AND THE DATE OF APPROVAL, THE MEMBERS WHO WERE PRESENT DURING THE DEBATE AND VOTE ON THE TRANSACTION, A DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPARABILITY DATA AND HOW IT WAS OBTAINED AND RELIED UPON INCLUDING THE RECOMMENDATIONS RECEIVED FROM THIRD-PARTY CONSULTANTS, AND DOCUMENTATION OF THE BASIS FOR THE DETERMINATION.
