OUR WORK IS CENTERED AROUND PEOPLE OF COLOR, WOMXN, LGBTQ+ INDIVIDUALS, IMMIGRANTS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND OTHERS WHO HAVE BEEN HISTORICALLY DISENFRANCHISED BY SYSTEMIC OPPRESSION. OUR GOAL IS TO EXPAND WHO HAS ACCESS TO ART, WHO HAS THE SKILLS TO MAKE ART, AND WHO CAN EXPERIENCE ART AS A VEHICLE TO PERSONAL AND SOCIETAL TRANSFORMATION.INTIMAN PRODUCES PROFESSIONAL THEATRICAL OFFERINGS THAT INVITE OUR AUDIENCE TO GRAPPLE WITH THE MOST PRESSING ISSUES OF OUR TIME. EQUAL IMPORTANCE IS PLACED ON OUR EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS, INCLUDING THE STARFISH PROJECT: A FREE-OF-COST TECHNICAL THEATRE MENTORING PROGRAM PRIMARILY SERVING SEATTLE'S BIPOC AND LOW-INCOME HIGH-SCHOOL AGED YOUTH. WE ALSO PARTNER WITH SEATTLE CENTRAL COLLEGE TO OFFER AN ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DEGREE, AND WE FISCALLY SPONSOR SOUTH END STORIES (SES), A BLACK-LED ARTS ORGANIZATION ENRICHING SCHOOLS AND TEACHING PROFESSIONALS WITH TRAUMA-INFORMED, ANTIRACIST AND IDENTITY-AFFIRMING STEAM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS AND MATHEMATICS) OFFERINGS. Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
