Civic Engagement Citizens Project provides election education resources for the community. The signature voter guide reaches more than 180,000 people by being published in the Colorado Springs Business Journal, Colorado Springs Independent, in other community newspapers, and online. Other nonpartisan election education programs include forums for candidates and to discuss ballot measures. Education/Advocacy Citizens Project runs ongoing programs to educate the community and advocate for our values. We watchdog local government and public schools to ensure that equality and diversity are being upheld. Programming is responsive to current events and seeks to localize issues of national importance. Activities range from hosting community discussions to legislative monitoring by urging local elected officials to uphold laws that protect equality. The Network alerts citizens to speak out in a timely way on legislation at the state and local level. Publication of Legislative Report Card informs the community of how they are represented on issues that reflect their values. We also hosted our Creating Community Breakfast to celebrate the victories we have had as a community and organization over the last 30 years.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
