Activities or mission (Part I)
ACT - A Common Thread ("ACT") is a nonprofit organization established in 2020. ACT's mission is to provide free self-serve farmer markets to remote locations, senior living facilities, mobile home courts and other facilities across Pierce, Thurston, Lewis and King Counties of Washington State. ACT procures its food primarily through donations and receives funding from government grants and contracts administered by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. ACT's operating model relies on use of volunteer labor and generally allows for donated food to be picked up from donors and distributed to those in need within these communities within the same day.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
