Mission and programs · 2022

Mission

Multicultural educational and resources.

  • ADULT ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING: A central aspect of the access-justice work of the CMLC is English language acquisition, as limited English experience is a major social determinant of health in the US which, for many international, immigrant, and refugee community members has the potential to limit workplace equity, access to education, healthcare, housing, and social community to name just a few. See Schedule O for more details.

    Expenses $98,151

  • IMMIGRATION SUPPORT: A vital program for community safety and civic engagement and representation is the CMLC Immigration Support Program. This program works to engage and support immigrant, refugee, and international community members wherever they are in their USA residency process. See Schedule O for more details.

    Expenses $76,339

  • JUSTICE AND BELONGING FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY: The CMLC has a mission to grow justice and belonging cross-culturally with international, immigrant, refugee and intersecting communities. See Schedule O for more details.

    Expenses $43,623

As filed on the 2022 return. The filer continues this part on Schedule O, which is not shown here.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
