Mission

The mission of Alianza Nacional de Campesinas is to unify the struggle to promote farm worker women's leadership in a national movement to create broader visibility and advocate for changes that ensure their human rights.

  • COVID-19 RESPONSE For COVID-19 Response, Alianza partnered with 6 other organizations for vaccine outreach & access in various areas nationwide. The project trained and engaged more than 264 community health outreach workers (across 141 counties in 20 states and 78 municipalities in Puerto Rico) who reached more than 2 million farmworkers, farmworker family members, rural farmers, meatpackers and other essential workers who were Latinx and Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) in historically underserved and socially disadvantaged rural communities. Alianza provided financial guidance to at least three partner organizations. Alianza has also led two food distributions in Coachella, CA and Santa Maria, CA every month to provide basic necessity items and food to the communities of these areas with the support of local collaborators. Additionally, in 2022, Alianza provided mini-grants to 11 member organizations for COVID-19 Response aid in their communities. They in turn provided food distributions, PPE supplies, and information regarding COVID-19 to the communities in their areas.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
