The project was funded by the Washington Department of Commerces low income solar deployment fund and installed by South Sound Solar. Olympia Community solar invited Merritt manor residents into the decision making process and sought their informed consent to install solar with an interactive survey. Of the 82 housing units, 65 responded to our survey, representing 79% of the tenant population. Overall te survey findings indicate tha A) a significant majority of respondents experience a financial burden from tehir energy expenses, B) re-spondents unanimously value the environmental benefits of the solar installation, and C) zero respondents oppose the installation of solar.

The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those.
