Fauna Rescue and Recovery: Yearly, a number of baby birds fall off their nest or the nest is found on the floor, during spring and summer. When this happens the situation is assessed in order to identify if the birds are fledglings, nestlings, if the parents are still bringing them food, if the nest fell off the tree or if the bird needs to be taken care of. When the birds need rehabilitation they are raised until adulthood, and then they are released in the wild. During summer a colony of least terns, Sternula antillarum, used the sand bar of the Espiritu Santo river mouth to nest, with more than 40 nest throughout the breeding season. Volunteers and staff helped to protect the nest and mark them with sticks to identify them and indicate walkers and joggers to avoid crushing them. Sea Turtles and manatees are endangered species that have important habitats in the area. The program supports actions for their conservation, protection, rehabilitation and monitoring, including education for their conservation. This program is developed in partnership with the Caribbean Center for Manatee Conservation and in collaboration with the Natural Resources Department.

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
