D-COMPOSED GIVES IS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT, ESTABLISHMENT, AND EXPANSION OF CHAMBER MUSIC AND BLACK COMPOSERS. SPECIFICALLY, THE MISSION OF D-COMPOSED GIVES IS TO UPLIFT AND EMPOWER SOCIETY BY PROVIDING A PLATFORM FOR THE MUSIC OF BLACK COMPOSERS. IN ORDER TO DO THIS, WE AIM TO INCREASE ACCESS AND EXPOSURE TO BLACK CREATIVITY, CULTURE AND LIFE THROUGH THOUGHTFUL PROGRAMMING, EVENTS AND CONTENT.

  • MUSIC OF BLACK COMPOSERS - OUR SIGNATURE PERFORMANCE SERIES DESIGNED TO GIVE AUDIENCES OF ALL AGES AN INTRODUCTION TO BLACK COMPOSERS ACROSS TIME PERIODS AND GENRES IN AN EFFORT TO REVERSE THE SEVERE UNDERREPRESENTATION OF BLACK RECOGNITION IN CLASSICAL MUSIC AND THE ARTS.
