Mission
The Ohio Children's Alliance applies the collective strength of its members to sustainably improve the provision of services to children, young adults and families through policy advocacy, performance improvement and member support.
-
Bridges, extended foster care program - The program is funded by federal and state grants. Bridges is a voluntary program available to young adults, ages 18, 19 or 20 who left foster care in Ohio and who are in school, working, participating in an employment program or have a medical condition that prevents them from going to school or work. The program provides guidance and support as they transition to adulthood. We support former foster youth as they build a bridge toward a brighter future.
Expenses $17,074,610
-
Foster Home Recruitment - Partnering with ODJFS's It Takes Heart Ohio Campaign to increase awareness and the number of qualified kinship, foster care and adoptive families across the state.
Expenses $2,954,180 · Grants $4,907,062

Early Childhood Mental Health This initiative, funded by the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association and the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, supports three innovative early childhood programs (Therapeutic Child Care, Mental Health Bridge and Professional Education) that support young children enrolled in child care programs, and their families, by expanding access to quality mental health services. - Mental Health Bridge - a referral platform, developed to connect Ohio Child Care Centers, and parents of the children enrolled, with a statewide network of ECMH specialists who are available to provide in-home, office-based, and virtual mental health services to Ohio's young children. - Therapeutic Child Care (TCC) - expand access to evidence-based intensive services by providing grant dollars for new and expanded TCC centers.
Expenses $1,829,761 · Grants $371,623

Compensation is as filed in Part VII: reportable pay from this organization and from related organizations, other compensation, and hours per week. The total, marked calculated, is our sum of the three dollar columns, with a blank column counted as $0; the form itself has no total. On a Form 990-EZ the columns are Part IV's instead, and on a Form 990-PF Part VIII's — compensation, contributions to benefit plans, and expense account — and the total sums those. A Schedule J breakdown is as filed: base pay, bonus, other, deferred compensation and nontaxable benefits from this organization, with any from related organizations beside each, and the filer's own total. It is shown with the Part VII listing of the same name on the same return. The form gives no key between the two, so that pairing is ours, and is marked matched by us.
