Primary exempt purpose
To advocate and educate in favor of public policies supporting religious freedom, freedom of speech, parental rights, and the sanctity of life and marriage.

The work of ADF Action includes networking, relationship-building, bill-tracking and advocacy to advance ADF Action's priority bills. Team members that carry out these functions oversee a portfolio of states and are actively engaged within their states during the legislative sessions. The 2023 sessions saw 56 bills containing model language introduced in the 18 states covered by these team members, referred to as state government relations specialists, including at least one bill introduced in each state. These 56 bills, 20 of which became law, focused on protecting religious freedom, freedom of speech, the sanctity of life and parental rights.
